Sephora Sale Clean Beauty Picks
The Sephora Sale is here and it’s finally open to all tiers. I’ll be honest, I don’t purchase all my beauty and skincare products from Sephora, but I love that they’re growing their offering of clean beauty and skincare and when there’s a sale it’s a great chance to restock. The items above are products I use regularly - here’s what I have to say about them:
Hair:
My friend and hairstylist, Rachel, uses Verb haircare products in her salon and I love that they’re high quality but still affordable. I restocked the Ghost Shampoo and Conditioner in the large size - it’s a great deal, especially with the addition of the discount.
For styling, I love the Ghost Hair Oil for adding moisture and this affordable texture spray for adding a little grit to freshly washed hair.
Beauty:
I picked up this matte lipstick from Bite Beauty in Hot Tomato (it’s a cool-toned red) on a whim and I love it.
Another lip product I’m loving: the Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil from Ilia.
Speaking of Ilia, I also love the Nightlight Bronzer Powder and the concealer - both work really well.
I was asked on Instagram what I thought about the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint in comparison with the Saie Beauty Slip Tint. Here’s what I think: I like the Ilia product, but the Saie Beauty Slip Tint performs much better for me. I like that it dries a bit more, so you’re not left feeling as though it’s sitting on top of your skin, and the package design is better – it doesn’t leak, which makes it much more travel-friendly (and makeup bag-friendly).
Another Saie Beauty product I love: Mascara 101 Lengthening and Lifting. This formula is really nice; it doesn’t smudge easily (it makes it through many of my Peloton workouts). I don’t love the wand design, but the formula is worth the small annoyance.
Skincare:
I’m a self-tanner devotee - and I’ve tried a lot of different at-home tanners. The Hydra Mousse from Tan-Luxe is the current winner. I like that it doesn’t have any bronzer in it, so it doesn’t get all over your sheets, and it’s easy to apply with good results.
If you take a peek in my bathroom cabinet, you’ll find a lot of tried-it-and-failed natural deodorants. Until recently my favorite was the crystal rock deodorant, but I’m currently loving the Deodorant Gel from Necessaire. It works, it contains skin-beneficial ingredients, and they offer an unscented option, which is key for me - I really don’t like scented deodorant.
I’m also a big fan of the Body Wash by Necessaire in the eucalyptus scent.
Lastly, I recently purchased the Triple Peptide + Cactus Hydrating + Firming Oasis Serum from Youth To The People and LOVE IT. It is indeed super hydrating and I love how it makes my skin feel. I’m also a big fan of this Yerba Mate Energy Facial.
What are you shopping for from the Sephoa Sale? I’d love to know your picks!
